IBARW requests, day 3
Yes, yes. I know. But I've set up a system, and I'm damn well going to follow that system even if it doesn't make any sense.

First: Lala Gonzalez, for furikku.

What I saw of Lala indicates she's kind of adorably crazy, so I tried to capture her ~*~wacky~*~ side. That is a generic luchador in the BG, there; I have no idea if she has particular luchadores she likes in canon, but I didn't feel right letting the chance to draw her being silly go by without nodding to her fannish tastes in some way besides the silly pose. I imagine she's about to whap one of the SCHOOL RUMBLE boys in the head for being dumb or something. I doubt it's a very serious annoyance, or else she wouldn't be doing such a silly pose first. I am not pleased with her left hand. No. Sigh. Hands are hard. ;o; And I have just now noticed her eyes are lopsided GODDAMMIT. Also: the uniform the girls wear in SCHOOL RUMBLE is frigging ridiculous. What the heck is that thing. It's so silly!

Second: Shilo Norman, for alephz.

One thing I always liked about Shilo, compared to Scott Free, is that where Scott Free just runs with the crazy in his life because he's crazy too, Shilo tends to get exasperated and go "you do not make any sense, life ... oh well" and then jump headfirst into the crazy. So here we have him menaced by Kirby-crackle-ish things from beyond the color of spacetime and the only way out is a piece of timejunk that grew out of Galactus's left toenail during that time he was dead and drifting beyond known space. And, of course, he's a little exasperated by this! But he's going to get out, because he's Mister frigging Miracle, and that is what he does. This has some of the best body work I think I have ever done - Shilo looks like a superhero, by god!
